Jan Herholdt (1908-1987) A professional rose and fruit tree grower produced many well-known roses still available to this day.... and Mary Wise (1982). He had roses in five WFRS Award of Excellence Gardens ....and 'Mary Wise' in the Butchart Gardens. Vancouver Island, Canada.
