A. Ross. South Australia. New ones to promise well are .... and Pacific and some at least of these will take their rightful place on the exhibition bench.
Book  (1951)

p132 C. W. Heers. Rose Notes from Queensland. Our new H.T. Pacific is also living up to its reputation. Although it was only sent out in May last it has already been successful on the show bench. This is a very full bodied rose and on this account may not be a success in the southern States.

p132 Mr. C. J. McCormick, Gympie, Queensland. Those already worthy of mention are: Pacific, ideal for exhibition.

Novelty Roses 1950. Pacific (H.T.) (Heers, 1950). Luminous pink showing an even and distinct softening tone, developing as the bloom slowly opens, and finally turns into a massive extra full bloom. It has a light tea scent, flowers continuously and abundantly. A seedling from Cathrine Kordes x Rose Marie. Awarded a Certificate of Merit by the N.R.S.Q. 5/- each.
Book  (1949)

p83 C. W. Heers. Notes from Queensland. The Pacific Nurseries have been testing out a number of varieties of their own raising and these will probably go on to the market in 1950. They include a very fine pink seedling from Cathrine Kordes claimed to be as good as any pink in commerce today.

p91 Roses of Australia and New Zealand. Pacific. H.T. (Heers). A seedling from Catherine Kordes and Rose Marie and has inherited the goodness of both parents. A truly gorgeous luminous pink, having a distinct even softening tone on the outer petals developing as the perfectly shaped large bloom slowly opens. The bloom is very full and carries from 75 to 80 strongly built petals holding particularly well both on the bush and when cut; carries a light scent; flowers continuously and abundantly. It has strong branching healthy growth. It has been well tested over several years and claimed by the raiser to be the best all round pink in the nursery, an opinion which is supported by many rosarians who have seen it. Good for any purpose and must have a future though it may be found too full for cold climates. Available 1950.
