Pleasant little thing; nice blooms that turn bright red in the sun and dark brown with the cold from what I'd seen. Died in the 30+ days of heat this year, hopefully I can grow it again sometime in the future

Not a hint of any disease so far. I'm impressed with the bloom color, foliage and canes. I have not pruned or trimmed it in any way and it has an excellent rounded shape. My Coastal Central California (a Mediterranean) climate appears to be a good fit for health and vigor.

I received this rose from Paul in 2011 as a rooted cutting. This year I let it bloom and it has beautiful flowers. The petals are not as brown as Paul's photos indicate, but there are definate portions of the petals that have brown. The blooms so far are a vibrant "burnt orange" that are stunning. Paul should be very proud of this rose.
58-06-05 has been very healthy. I have had it in a 2.5 gallon pot next to other roses that have black spot, but so far there are no indications of BS, PM or rust.
It is budding out very well with numerous clusters. I'm curious about how quickly it will re-bloom. This is a favorite.
