Breeder's notes:
Although my breeding notes list this cross as being 0-47-19 X Out of Yesteryear, this seedling bears no resemblance to its siblings. It does appear to be 0-47-19 X self, which I believe to be the case. 0-47-19 self pollinates very early in the flowering process so I suspect a percentage of crosses made with this plant as a seed bearer are in fact self-pollinations.
As 0-47-19 is a known diploid, I suspect this variety is as well and I am proceeding with a variety of diploid breeding lines based on this assumption. This plant is nearly indestructible, even when grown under less than optimal conditions. It does not mildew and only rarely gets a bit of Blackspot. Seedlings raised from this rose often appear much more like the other parent than itself, especially if the combination is diploid X diploid.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The seed parent and pollen parent, 0-47-19 = Rosa wichurana Crépin × Floradora
