"Almerta Orchard Pink" Summer, Perth, Western Australia.
After prolonged hot weather, the blooms are small and untidy with fewer petals than in the cooler months.
The contrast in colour between the reverse and face of the petals is very pronounced.
Fragrance is strong and quite sweet despite the hot weather. Sometimes a hint of the slightly dusty sweetness of phlox.
