Nice foliage, darker green, typically a leaflet count lower than spinosissima and a bit thicker.

No foliage fragrance to speak off.

Thorns seem to be reduced from spinosissima but don't really have an resemblance to primula more winged thorns. Suspect it's a hybrid with a misidentified/mislabeled primula (see primula comments).

No flowers in it's first season. Have to wait til next season.
