Origin:
Bred by Eva Mameli Calvino (Italy, before 1934).
Introduced in Italy by Sanremo Experimental Station in 1934 as 'Maddalena'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, deep pink reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  30 to 32 petals.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, light green, leathery foliage.
