"DESCRIPTION Botanical/commercial classification: Rosa hybrida/Climbing Rose Plant.
Varietal denomination: cv. Meilaclost.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The new variety of Rosa hybrida Climbing rose plant of the present invention was created at Le Cannet-Des-Maures, Var, France, by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the ‘Deljaune’ variety (non-patented in the United States). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) of the new variety was the ‘Senateur Lafolette’ variety (non-patented in the United States) The parentage of the new variety can be summarized as follows: ‘Deljaune’בSenateur Lafolette’."
-US Patent
Are there other 'Senateur Lafolette' ? The patent also states,
"The new variety of the present invention can be readily distinguished from its ancestors, as well as other climbing rose varieties that are available to others for comparison. More specifically, the blossoms of the ‘Deljaune’ variety are medium yellow shaded with ochre in coloration, and the blossoms of the ‘Senateur Lafolette’ variety are orange to an orange blend in coloration."
The Senateur Lafolette listed on HMF is pink to kind-of salmon pink.

Not that I know of. The only orange things coming slightly close to that name are: Feu Follet (Mini-flora, Lens, 1984 or 1991). Orange mini flora. Feu Follet (floribunda, Dickson, 1989) Orange flori. Feu Follet (floribunda, Gaujard, 1953) Salmon flori
At this stage we will at least go with the patented parentage of ‘Deljaune’בSenateur Lafolette’. Thanks Michael.
