Cook (Hybrid tea-scented) A distinct and remarkable rose, the flowers closely approximating in character to the tea roses whilst the growth is that of a hybrid tea. The colour is a beautiful pale primrose yellow, suffused with pink as the flowers expand. The blossoms are very large, extra full, and of very handsome shape, the petals being reflexed at the edges. They are produced in large clusters, the buds being distinctly shaded with red, produce a charming effect mingled with yellow flowers. On account of their fullness the summer flowers are best on cut back plants, and the autumn blooms are particularly rich and handsome, also a good winter flowering variety; growth erect and vigorous.
