'Copper N Bronze'. (SIMcopa) Simpson 1995; 'Just Joey' x 'Remember Me'; 16 reports on 26 bushes; 1.4 metres; 7.3 rating. Copper and bronze coloured blooms. Again an unusual colour and a number of reporters would like to see a few more petals to the bloom. The bush is healthy and strong with a neat upright habit and a number of reporters comment on its good health and quick repeat.

'Copper N Bronze. (SIMcopa). Simpson 1995; 'Just Joey' x 'Remember Me'; copper and bronze; 6 reports on 8 bushes; 1-7 years; 1.4 metres; 7.5 rating. Glossy dark bronze foliage. Northland says different colour. Blooms open fast. Colour invokes comment. Perhaps not enough flowers. South Canterbury has a vigorous bush with lovely foliage. Attractive bi-coloured flowers but they blow fast. Manawatu has tall upright growth on their bushes which had a little blackspot this year. Stunning colour but a bit short of petals. North Harbour found their bush has grown fast, is healthy and doesn't stop flowering.

Gerard Williams. Review of the Newer Roses for the 1999-2000 Season
'Copper N' Bronze' (SIMcopa); Simpson 1995; 'Just Joey' x 'Remember Me'; copper and bronze; 4 reports on 4 bushes; 2-6 years; 1.4 metres; 7.8 rating. Glossy dark bronze foliage. Northland like it better than 'Cafe au Lait'. Bay of Plenty finds the colour stunning, but the blooms open too fast and the colour washes out in the summer. Franklin says very healthy and fabulous colours, but the blooms are fleeting. Manawatu has tall upright growth on their bushes, which never get diseases or problems with spider mites. The colour is unusual and the flowers open quickly. Good repeat.

Gerard Williams. Review of the Newer Roses for the 1998-99 Season.
'Copper N' Bronze' (SIMcopa) Simpson 1995; 'Just Joey' X 'Remember Me'; copper and bronze; 1 report on 3 bushes this year; 6 years; 1.9 metres; 7.4 rating. Tall upright grower and very healthy. The foliage is dark and compliments the blooms. A different and novel colour of deep golden bronze with copper reverse. Attracts favourable comments from ordinary rosarians. Manawatu likes the rose but feels it could do with a few more petals. If you want to try your hand at breeding something different this could be a good one to start with. Unusual colouring.

Nola Simpson. Review of Newer Roses for 1997-98 Season. Hybrid Teas.
'Copper 'N' Bronze'. (SIMcopa); Simpson 1995; 'Just Joey' x 'Remember Me'; copper and bronze; 3 reports on 5 plants; 1-4 years; 1.8 metres; 7.3 (interim) rating. The first reports in on this unusual coloured rose. All reports agree it could do with more petals, very healthy and it grows strongly with an upright neat growth habit. The foliage is dark which enhances the blooms. The very novel colour, deep golden bronze with a copper reverse to the petals, attracts the public whenever they see it. 'It is a good breeding rose for something different.
