Whiteout (MACwhitout); McGredy 1990. 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Popcorn'; pale pink/white; 55 reports on 91 plants; 1-6 years; 40cms; 7.5 rating. The reports on this mini 'Sexy Rexy' seedling have all been favourable except for one or two where the health has been suspect and the plants have lacked vigour. Grows well in a container and has plenty of flowers which are borne in small and large clusters suitable for showing. In general it is very healthy, although it can get blackspot and the mites rather fancy it. A Southland grower likes it a lot and thinks the flowers are very pretty with little eyelet centres. Compact bushy growth habit and the blooms have camellia-like form.

Whiteout (MACwhitrout); McGredy 1990; 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Popcorn'; pale pink/white; 17 reports on 28 plants; 1-4 years; 40cms; 7.4 rating. Further reports on this mini 'Sexy Rexy' seedling, and all favourable except for one or two, where the health is suspect and the plants lack vigour. Grows well in a container and has plenty of flowers which are borne in small and large clusters suitable for showing. In general, it is very healthy, although it can get blackspot. A Southland grower likes it a lot and thinks the flowers are very pretty with little eyelet centres. Compact bushy growth habit and the blooms have camellia form. Otago likes the smaller flower size, but a report from Marlborough is less complimentary and thinks it is rather ordinary.

Further reports on this mini 'Sexy Rexy' seedling and all favourable except for one from Bay of Plenty where the plant lacks vigour. Grows well in a container and has plenty of flowers which are borne in small and large clusters suitable for showing. In general it is very healthy, although a report from Nelson states bad black spot this year. A Southland grower likes it a lot and thinks the flowers are very pretty with little eyelet centres. Compact bushy growth habit and the blooms have camellia form.

Whiteout (MACwhitout); McGredy 1990; 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Popcorn'; pale pink/white; 13 reports on 18 plants; 1-2 years; 38 cms; 7.5 rating. First reporting on this mini 'Sexy Rexy' seedling. All reporters seem quite enthusiastic except for two whose plants have not established well. it is different from the general run of the mill mini, compact bushy growth habit, flowers borne in sprays with many petals, opening like a camellia in formation, pale pink initially fading to white. it is a cute little rose and produces masses of blooms, looks great in a pot or in the garden and makes good stems for exhibiting with.

Whiteout. (MACwhitout) ['Sexy Rexy' x 'Popcorn']. A miniature rose of compact, rounded habit. Very healthy and the flowers are borne in well formed clusters, white in colour with a double formal shape like a miniature 'Sexy Rexy'. Very aptly named when in full flush and very impressive. Another Sam McGredy creation.
