I like this one! Spinosissima foliage is some of the most appealing to me, and I'm trying to add roses to my garden with the linseed oil fragrance, which I like. Smells like cinnamon and carnation too? That's even more interesting. I've added it to my wish list, just in case it becomes available one day.

Thanks Melissa, Unfortunately this will not be released commercially. I listed it for interest's sake, but it will be used as a step in breeding only. I do not consider it a "finished product" ;-)

Hi Paul,
Do you have any more recent pictures of this rose? I am very curious to see how it has matured.

Sorry, no. This rose is no longer under evaluation, so I have not taken any new photos.

Nice one Paul. Does it repeat? Thanks, Robert

Hi Robert, I just today saw your question about this rose. Yes, it repeats freely. It has that curious "oily"/linseed scent that I find often comes from Kim's fedtschenkoana hybrids.

How is it possible that you call this Rose 'not finished' ?! It looks on the pictures and the descriptions a great Rose to me! There are 2 Roses on HMF I liked the most and both of them you are calling 'not finished'. New Roses with the elegance of wild Roses, with lovely clear colors, beatiful details as leaves and hairs... I can continue that concratulations. But I have to wait I believe. In my opinion it is not neccesairy to shrunk this Rose like much of your others you do sell. Or is that not the issue? What would you want to see this Rose finished? I am curious.
Greetings, Marnix
