UPDATE 1, 17th March, 2012: Highly fertile and has flowered for most of spring and summer. Putting on a hip display now. It has been incredibly hot this summer and the rugose foliage has held up well; not perfectly but well.. Suckers freely on own roots. Accepts most diploid pollens put on it. Currently has hips forming on it from Rosa wichurana and Tea pollen. Starting to put on an autumn display of yellow foliage.
