[provenance:] (Huntington) Renamed to commemorate the New York World's Fair of 1939-1940, where it was extensively planted. It is easy to imagine vast beds of this striking rose, deep crimson lit with scarlet as it ages; wide petals, semi-double, with golden stamens.
