'ZLEcharlie' rose Description

Bloom:
Deep pink, magenta or violet - with white center. Mild, spice fragrance. up to 5 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders or container rose.

The pollination occurred in late spring 2004....ZLECharlie’ was originated by me by crossing two of my unnamed, unreleased seedling selections. The female parent of ‘ZLECharlie’ is a seedling selection designated 2002-22 and the male parent is a selection designated Poly A.
