Introduced in United States by Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. in 1992 as 'Yellow Jacket'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, ages to lighter .  Mild fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for ground cover.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Jack Christensen says this is a low, deep yellow shrub that is also sold under the name of 'Gold Dust'...
