"Schmidt's Smooth Yellow" rose Description

Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Hybrid Musk, Polyantha, Shrub.
Bloom:
Yellow. Lemon to butter yellow, fading nearly white. None to mild, apple fragrance. Average diameter 1.75". Small, semi-double to double, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, open bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading. Small, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm). Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.
Breeder's notes:
Ovoid buds developing to "flat topped" form; bud petal reverses often touched red. Canes/stems quite polished; newer stems showing strong red tints. No prickles observed on the plant in the six years of growing it.
