'Lenny’ is a cream to light yellow of Exhibition form on a vigorous upright plant producing singular and multi heads.This rose is special as I was there at Lenny's 90th Birthday party when Paul Hams presented it to him. Lenny is bred from 'Moonstone' x 'Honeybee' (with photo of Len Johnstone on his 90th birthday)

It appears to be a nice rose and was given to a Rose Society friend in Queensland, Lenny Johnston. He and his daughter sold cuttings of it. (It is now in Paul Hains’ breeding programme and is one of the parents of the rose he bred and registered to celebrate Lenny’s 90th. It is appropriately called, Lenny.)

He told me that Len (Lenny) Johnstone ARA was to celebrate his 90th Birthday on 2nd May 2012. Chris and Gerry Ellis had asked Terry if he knew of anyone who had a suitable unregistered rose that they had bred that they could name in honour of Lenny. Terry made a few phone calls and when he called me I said I felt certain I had a couple of options.... "

This is a miniature yellow 'Moonstone' with a delicate pink edge. The foliage is light green and so far showing disease resistance. It strikes easily from cuttings.
