Don Sheppard. Review of Newer Roses for the 1986-87 Season. 'Confection' Martin, 1982; red with yellow blends; 12 reports; 12 bushes; 1-5 years; 1m; 6.1 rating. Apparently this rose did not receive much acceptance, as it did not remain in the catalogues very long. Hot, dry climates found it healthy and worth growing, but more inclement areas reported poor colour, fading, but reasonable health. Not recommended.
