'Amber Mist'. SOCplay. Eagle, 2001. 3 reports; 5 plants; garden 6.0. Exhibition 5.8. Medium height; Health 6.0. Fragrance 1.5. Northland: a nice rose, a bit different in colour. BOP: outer petals have a hint of scarlet, rest amber with gold base and reverse. Canterbury: unusual colour, needs more petals.

'Amber Mist' SOCplay. Eagle, 2001. Garden rating 7.0. Exhibition rating 7.0. 8 bushes, 5 reports. Some health problems; Light fragrance; Medium height; Amber/orange flowers. BOP - medium tan with a hint of cream and green. Starts out as an exhibition before opening to a slight cup. Colour changes to a red and petals curl under, red brown foliage, good repeat. Canterbury - unusual colour,. makes lovely decs. North Otago - nice garden rose, amber colour, with semi-double blooms. Northland calls it an average rose, unusual colour. Central Otago doesn't like the colour, but excellent form.
