Don Sheppard. Final Analysis 1985-86
'Endeavour' Ramsey N.Z. 1980. Breeding not given. Pink; 15 reports; 1 m; 6.9 rating. The colour has, evidently, pleased all reporters, but several have found that, after the intriguing bud is past a quarter open, the bloom becomes rather blousy. Most find the bush grows well if somewhat sprawly - but one or two complain of poor bushes that just have not grown. The West Coast has found that blooms will not stand rain. Hastings, Gisborne and Napier recommend it as a very good garden rose. Wetter, cooler districts are not so enthusiastic.

Don Sheppard. Review of Newer Roses in 1983-84 Season.
'Endeavour' Ramsey 1981 - 6 reports, 6 bushes, 2-5 years, 1 metre, 7.0 rating. Pink. This year we have a reasonable coverage of New Zealand to give us some idea of this locally raised rose. All find the colour to be a pleasing pink, and the form to be good, although Manawatu avers the petals do not have suffIcient substance for the bloom to be a show one. It is free flowering on a bush of average vigour. Gisborne reports it to have a spreading habit. It is quite healthy. Hastings says it will give a good garden display.
