This rose was grown in 2011 from an open pollinated seed from Fourth of July. It is consistently very double and reblooms readily. So far it has above average blackspot resistance and good vigor. I don't know yet what the eventual size will be or if it will end up being a climber. Sometimes I notice a nice fragrance. The blooms are about 2 1/2' to 3" across and are very ruffled, with many small petals. In its first year it produced some high centered blooms. It is named for my sweet mother, Frances Sims, who liked to dance and was dancing into her 80's.
