...a new, young rose that really blew me away this year: Katie's Rose. In the first year of standing it had an incredible number of flowers in a very dull, sometimes almost brownish red, which have a very formal shape and last a long time. Little fragrance, but extremely healthy foliage, upright, bushy growth and permanent bloom make this variety an eye-catcher for the second row of beds. I finally had the Digi with me in this area, unfortunately it doesn't manage to match the color correctly. At least one can get an idea of the shape and strength of the flowers, which are still perfect in late October.
