So far this is a rose that likes to keep it's foliage, the foliage is healthy and grows in a nice shape without too much intervention.
The flowers though are a bit "eh", likely a case of "tastes vary", they just don't capture my attention. The plant is very healthy though without sign of any disease issues so will be interesting to test it's fertility in the coming years.

Flowers scorch from Australian summer temps
Red spider mites seem to love this plant (whole plant infected, very few other plants in my garden, all nearby) didn't know what it was at first since never see it before, at least not to the point the plant looked like it was going to die. It's without 95% of it's leaves now, the red spider mites decimated it...still very little sign of them anywhere else.

Code name and patent information seem to imply the pollen parent is Knock Out. The code name is essentially nicknaming it "hot pink knock out" (possibly hot pink kolorscape). The seed parent is probably NOAwel, based on code name, patent descriptors, and the fact that the foliage is a lot like it.

This rose now has an ADR designation (2013). I planted 3 of this rose in the of spring 2015. Don't really like too comment on a first year rose. Since there are no other reviews yet I'll add what I'm able to. In the first year the rose grew from a band size to three feet in height. It has an upright bushy shape. This year in my garden was a bad one for black spot and powdery mildew. Flamingo's foliage remained clean and flowered continuously. Thou time will tell how this rose well perform I was very happy with it this year.
