Docteur Raimont, General Jacqueminot x Polyantha. Alégatière 1888. Cramoisi violet velouté.- fl. grande, pleine, très odorante; très florifère, vigoureux.

A recommender pour les bordures, avec les variétés suivantes du même genre : Etoile de Mai (jaune), Etoile d'or (jaune cuivré), Cécile Brunner (rose vif), Gloire des Polyantha (rose vif), Mignonnette (rose blanc), Clotilde Soupert (blanc), Docteur Raymond (rouge), Petite Léonie (blanc porcelaine), qui forment un choix de jolis rosiers nains à recommander, même cultivés isolément, ou comme bordure de corbeilles, massifs, d'autres rosiers. Très rustique sous notre climat. A multiplier de boutures.

Dr. Raymont, a Hybrid Polyantha, is a very fine purplish crimson and almost always in bloom. This resulted from a cross between the old R. multiflora and General Jacqueminot

Translation: Perpetual Roses.
Docteur Reymint. -- Medium-sized flower is full and of a crimson red shading to purple, more deeply colored at the center.

Notes on New French Roses...Dr. Reymont (Hybrid Polyantha):— Habit of plant robust, shoots thorny resembling in growth the hybrid teas as also in its freedom of bloom; flowers medium to large produced singly on each shoot; color rich velvety crimson; remains a long time in bloom without fading; quite double and very fragrant. This is one of the most promising varieties sent out for several years.
