p42. John Ford: Trial Ground Review - Trial 44. Eye Candy' (Somshabar) - 4867; floribunda bred by Rob Somerfield, Glenavon Roses. I mentioned above about Rob breeding roses with a low to medium plant with a neat compact habit, this is one of them. The soft pink flowers, smallish in size are borne in clusters, appeal as it was seldom without flowers. This rose will give plenty of enjoyment in the garden for those that just like a neat free flowering rose. It did get spider mite bad but most roses have the last couple of summers and powdery mildew was evident the odd time too.
