Origin:
Bred by Philippe Noisette (United States, 1814).
Introduced in France by Louis Noisette in circa 1819 as 'Noisette'.
Class:
China / Bengale, Hybrid Moschata, Noisette.  
Bloom:
Light pink, ages to white .  Bud crimson; flowers pinkish white, tinted lilac.  Moderate, clove fragrance.  up to 35 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy foliage.  7 leaflets.  

Height: 4' to 6'7" (120 to 200cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Very vigorous.  heat tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.
