'Rose de Montmérac ®' rose Description

Class:
Grandiflora. (Series: Les Provencelles ® Collection)
Bloom:
Vermilion. Strong, fruity fragrance. Average diameter 4". Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, expanded bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, upright. Medium, glossy, medium green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 31" to 39" (80 to 100cm). Width: 2' to 28" (60 to 70cm).
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden. Hardy. vigorous. heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
