The description ''occasional repeat later in the season'' is incorrect in my experience. It should be ''blooms in flushes throughout the season''...

Its repeat bloom is very good..

I agree that Adorable provides a very good summer and autumn flush with smaller flushes between.

Unfortunately, not so Adorable for me. Virtually every bloom had botrytis to some degree, I found it very susceptible. Some August blooms got away with it, but not much. Such a pity, as the foliage was so perfect..

Origin and Breeding
Controlled pollination: 'KORjupvio' was the resultant seedling from a cross between an unnamed seed parent with another unnamed seedling (MACgenev x unnamed seedling) in May 2008 at the breeding facility of W. Kordes Sohne in Sparrieshoop, Germany. The seedling was selected in May 2009 and was budded onto Rosa canina planted in the open field. Follow up selections took place in 2010 and 2011and was commercially introduced into Europe in September 2018. All breeding and selection processes were conducted by or under the supervision of Wilhelm-Alexander Kordes. Breeder: Wilhelm-Alexander Kordes, W. Kordes' Sohne Rosenschulen GmbH & Co KG, Offenseth-Sparrieshoop, Germany.

-quote from AUS patented already cited.

This one is interesting. That likely pollen parent has been used before, as well as the codename Vio, which is usually for 'Violina'. Maybe the unspecified "seedling" :P

Edit: I think it is possibly Violet Parfume x (Caramel Fairy Tale x New Zealand). I know Kordes also uses Violina and Claude Brasseur for their larger violet type roses in recent years, but I think its Violet Parfume in this case. We'll never know, of course ;]

Seed fertile. Not a whole lot of germination so far (it was a new bareroot and only set hips late, possibly better this upcoming season) but there is germination.

-edit 10 Sept-
With a few more weeks germination rate has been fairly good.

Seems to do well as a cut flower indoors (far better than outdoors, where it's prone to botrytis)....also "blue's" up a lot more than compared to outdoors (at least in this cooler autumn weather). From just opening bud to indoor seems to develop to around an N82b (Purple-Violet) in the RHS colour chart, outdoors it develops far more towards the pink side. Possibly of interest to anyone flowering arranging with it.
