Rose photo courtesy of Dave Bang The more the rose bloom is exposed to full sun as it opens the greater the red edge. Don't like the large red edge? Let the bloom open in the sun to the level of red edge you like and then cut it off and bring inside. The bloom will continue to open and the red edge will stay just as you cut it.
