Shovel-pruning. Terrible rose here. Black spot. Wire-y stems. Confused blooms. Weird fade. Taller than wide.

I have its half-sister, 'Burst of Joy', that does not have these issues. Well, the summer fade could be better and the blooms approach grandiflora size, but otherwise superior in every other way.

I have Ay Caramba! and it is miles above it's parent Ketchup & Mustard IMO. It's also better than Burst of Joy which also has K&M as a parent. It was more vigorous than both and the coloring always got a lot of compliments by everyone. It's gaudy, and I like gaudy colors.

Rose Geek on Youtube just did a video with this rose included, so others can get a look to what the color actually is.
