Albertine (Barbier Frères & Compagnie, before 1921) Wichurana Rambler with plenty of prickles but it can be forgiven since it produces strong, sweetly scented, coral buds opening to double, medium to large, salmon-pink flowers. Highly recommended as a barrier or hedging rose. Extra special for me was its crossing with Beauty of Glenhurst that produced a small double flower with the same lovely scent (Eunice Perkins).
