Took the time to taste a hip: a decent amount of flesh with a very fine, slightly tacky texture. Taste-wise fairly "green" and aromatic, but with no sweetness whatsoever. Quite sour. Pretty distinct from the other rose hips I have eaten.

I am curious how this compares to R. foliolosa hips. Which species of rose tastes the best?
