Rosehip 'Spire' is the result of crossing the variety 'Vorontsovskiy 3' and the form '1-6-3' of Rosehip rugosa. Received in the Moscow region. Author - V.D. Strelets. The variety was accepted for state testing in 1995. Included in the state register in 1995 for the West Siberian region (Novosibirsk region). Self-infertile.
