Transplanting of the band did cause a period of leaf attack which was quickly recovered from. I would say a period of some kind of rust on the weaker older leaves. The plant is still small but has begun pushing out strong swelling nodes and has many buds for such a small plant. This one I am confident to say is a strong grower and has vigor. The flower is very pretty and romantic, perfect for my daughters to enjoy.

Zone 6b Maiden bloom on a band direct from Antique rose emporium. I would not describe the fragrance as "Mild". It very much has a "fruity" fragrance noticeable from several feet radius of the plant. If anything I would describe it as a strong "fresh" fragrance for me so far. Just one bloom, but for its first fully opened bloom to have such an obvious perfume....I feel that this should be noted as a fragrant rose.I will definitely report more as the season moves forward.
