Bred by Poiteau (Belgium, before 1834).
Introduced in France by Sisley-Vandaƫl in before 1834 as 'Muscade-Hyponane'.
Class:
Hybrid Moschata, Hybrid Noisette.  
Bloom:
Light pink, ages to white .  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  
Habit:
5 to 7 leaflets.
