'Morning Mist' rose References
Book  (1952)  Page(s) 135.

Joy V. Guinan, Wellington Rose Society, N.Z.
Morning Mist (H.T.), seed parent Ami F. Mayery, pollen parent unknown, but probably Dainty Bess, received a Massey National Third Class Trial Ground Certificate.  A very beautiful single, especially in the early season or in a shaded position. The rose is borne in clusters of the same type as Dainty Bess, and, at times, has a similar colour in the bud. Morning Mist slowly opens to a salmon flushed misty rose-pink shade, 5 inches in diameter, revealing lovely dainty stamens of a deeper rose hue. At times, the centre of the outer petals are streaked lengthwise with a deeper shade of rose. Strong medium-sized foliage, an attractive shade of green, no gloss, seems resistant to disease on a vigorous upright tree.
