Bred by Nicolas-Joseph Prevost (fils) (France, 1822).
Class:
Species Cross.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Mild fragrance.  10 to 12 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Glandular sepals, leafy sepals buds.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , well-branched.  Dark green, fragrant foliage.  5 to 9 leaflets.
