Bred by Unknown (circa 1860).
Class:
Found Rose, Damask.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, ages to light pink .  Moderate, citrus fragrance.  18 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Upright.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 39" to 13'1" (100 to 400cm).

Notes:
Found in numerous locations in southern and central Sweden. Was sold as 'Aurora' by Swedish nurseries. See drawing of 'Aurore Poniatowska' by Redouté.
