Bred by Unknown (before 1821).
Introduced in France by Jardin fleuriste du Roi in before 1821 as 'Rosa gallica aurelianensis'.
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Mild fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Very double, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Glandular sepals buds.  
Habit:
Bristly .  Large, leathery foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
