I’ll pass on this one Nadene. I still don’t have a clue about whether mine is ‘Cherub’ or ‘Apple Blossom’ or ‘Blush Rambler’ and I haven’t looked at the subject for years. There is a fair bit in the Cherub comments to plough through.

Your comment just alerted me to Margaret's comment re her 'Apple Blossom', that she wasn't sure ''if it is Burbank or Dawson, or if they are different''. If the cuttings she sent me take, maybe I should start calling it ''Cherub''. :D

Mine was a roadside pickup, unlabelled, from a long hedge with many ramblers.

Fair enough. It does make me wonder though if the nurseries that claim to be selling one or the other really know, or are just guessing based on what they were told when they acquired their stock plants.
