I looks like Kordes, Nicole. Where did the seed come from?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I agree it has similar colorings to Kordes Perfecta but the form of our flower seems to be completely different. It has more of a rosette form with alot less petals, far from the classic Hybrid Tea shape of Kordes Perfecta. The problem with the seedling is that since we gathered and sowed the seeds we moved home (and garden) twice and lost track of where certain seeds had come from. We've some idea of where the seeds came from but since returning to where we collected most from we can't find this particular flower or anything like it. It will be interesting to see what this seedling does during the rest of the season. Thanks again for the reply. I'll keep on looking and hopefully find a match.

You collected the seed, you didn't buy it?

If you collected hips, chances are good you have a hybrid of whatever was growing around the mother plant. Name it whatever you'd like, it's your baby.
