Hungarian Climbers. The roses bred by the forest warden Rudolf Geschwind in the town Karpfen (Hungary) do not belong to any specific class, but have originated from the crossing of various climbers with roses of other classes....Aennchen von Tharan (Geschwind 1886), cream-white, shaded yellowish flesh pink inside, medium to alrge, very double, centifolia form. Very vigourously climbing, cluster-flowered. Quite hardy. From 'Rosa alba' and 'Ayrshirerose'.

Elisa Boëlle (Guillot père 1870), Blumen leicht fleischfarbenweiß, in reinweiß übergehend, mittelgroß, gefüllt, schalenförmig, dachig, wohlriechend, Pflanze starkwüchsig, reichbluhend, stammt von „Mme. Récamier". Eine der besten dieser Farbe. Als Busch, zu Gruppen und zum späteren Treiben verwendbar

Elisa Boëlle (Guillot père 1870), Flowers are light flesh-colored white, changing to pure white, medium-sized, full, cupped, variable, fragrant, the plant is vigorous and floriferous, a seedling of "Mme. Récamier ". One of the best of this color. Suitable as a specimen, for massing and a good forcing rose late in the season.

The only rose which sometimes nears a real blue. Very vigorous, climbing. Originated from a crossing of 'Rosa rubifolia' with 'Génie de Chateaubriand'. Due to its sombre colouring and its floriferousness effectful mourning rose for graves.
