The Basye Rose Breeding and Genetics Program at Texas A&M University has developed rose populations from the backcross of Rosa chinensis 'Old Blush' to WOB (interspecific diploid hybrid between Rosa wichurana 'Basye's Thornless' and 'Old Blush'). The progenies were evaluated for bllom habit, flower color, flower form, the presence of stem prickles, and leaflet number at College Station and/or Overton, Texas....
