Rosa trovata da Tatia Franchetti nell'orto della Sig.ra Abbadi al Bassano in Teverina. Cespuglio espanso, alto m. 1.00/1.20. Rami verdi, con poche spine, foglie larghe verde scuro. Fiorisce per una lunga stagione. Fiori dal bocciolo allungato, grandi, doppi, colore bianco. Poco o nessun profumo.

Alberello sotto l'Olmo
Cespuglio alto m. 1.80, pochi rami diritti, poche spine, foglioline verde scuro. E' una pianta che é stata due anni in vaso e che ora sta crescendo liberamente in terra. Fiori grandi, color crema che vira sul giallo con sfumatura rosa, doppi, a coppa, profumati.

Talea proveniente da un giardino di Cetona. Pare che questa pianta si trovi in molti dei casali contadini della zona; cm. 60 x 60, foglie larghe verde scuro, produce a primavera fiori grandi, doppi, profumati, rosa scuro, quasi cremisi. É una Centifolia?

Rosa regalataci da Anna Malerba, proveniente dal suo giardino di Orvieto. Cinese, cespuglio pieno, piccolo a foglio verde scuro, lucide; firitura sontuosa di fiori semplici dal colore ciclamino scuro, centro bianco. Ripete, non profuma.

Arancera
Da talee prese all'Orto Botanico di Roma, di un rampicante vigoroso senza nome che sale sull'Arancera assieme ad altre rose. Rami con poche grosse spine, foglie grandi, carnose, lucide. Sembra una té: somiglia alla "E. Veyrat Hermanos". Fiori prodotti in continuazione, pieni, globulari, rosa-giallo-arancio.

From cuttings taken from the Botanical Garden of Rome, of a vigorous rambler without a name that climbs the Orange tree along with other roses. Branches with a few large prickles, large, fleshy, glossy leaves. It looks like tea: it looks like "E. Veyrat Hermanos". Flowers produced continuously, full, globular, pink-yellow-orange.

Il "Pépinièriste" Loubert, che ci ha fatto avere ques^te piante, ci scrive che provengono dalla "Roseraie de l'Hay", la quale a sua volta le cataloga come "origine inconnue".
Pianta alta m. 1.20, rami verdi senza spine, foglie a molte foglioline verde glauco, fiori a 5 petali, rosa, con leggero profumo.

The nursery Loubert, who gave us these plants, writes to us that they come from the "Roseraie de l'Hay", which in turn categorizes them as "unknown origin". Plant 1.20 m. tall, green branches without prickles, glaucous green foliage with many leaflets, 5-petalled flowers, pink, with a light fragrance.

Ibridi di Té....Asia
Walter Branchi, Corbara 1993. Portamento eretto, alta m. 1.20. Rami e fogli verde scuro con riflessi di rosso-ramato, grandi spine. Molto rifiorente. Boccioli grandi, allungati. Fiore molto pieno, petali grandi. Colore albicocca-arancio con riflessi salmone.

Bagatelle
Talea presa da Isabella Ducrot nel giardino di Bagatelle (Parigi) da una pianta potata ad alberello. Piantata a Corbara, ha dimostrato potenzialità sarmentose e rampicanti. Deve essere un ibrido di Wichurayana o Luciae di Barbier, perché ha le fogliw lucide e le spine uncinate tipiche di quelle rose. Fiori piuttosto grandi, doppi ma non troppo, prodotti una sola volta, colore bianco con sfumature gialle. Non profuma. Appoggiatta al prugno selvatico...

Cutting taken by Isabella Ducrot in the garden of Bagatelle (Paris) from a plant trimmed like a seedling. Planted in Corbara, it has shown growing and climbing potential. It must be a hybrid of Wichurayana or Luciae of Barbier, because it has the glossy leaves and hooked prickles typical of those roses. Rather large flowers, double but not too much, blooming only once, white with yellow shades. No fragrance....

Bellissima della Salita
Nel 1997 questa rosa, cm. 80 x 100, piantata vicino a una Moss sulla salita, settore F, stava per morire; i rami principali seccavano. L'abbiamo messa in vaso, nutrita, annaffiatta, e ha cominciato a vegetare. L'avevamo soprannominata "Bellissima", non conoscendone il nome di origine, perché produce una volta l'anno grandi fiori doppi, bianchi con leggero reflesso rosa, profumati. Nel 1998 ha tirato fuori un ramolungo m. 1.50 carico di boccioli bellissimi, e ci é sembrato cogliere una somiglianza con la "Devoniensis". Però finora non si é dimostrata rifiorente.

Beauty of the Slope
In 1997 this rose, 80 x 100 cm, planted near a Moss on the slope, sector F, was about to die; the main branches withered. We potted it, fed it, watered it, and it began to vegetate. We had nicknamed it "Bellissima", not knowing its original name, because once a year it produces large, fragrant double flowers, white with a slight pink reflection. In 1998 it produced a long cane of 1.50 m loaded with beautiful buds, and it seemed to us to catch a resemblance to the "Devoniensis". However, so far it has not proved repeating.

Birmania Rampicante Bianco
Talea presa in un giardino di Rangoon, Birmania nel 1995. Pianta rampicante a rami verdi non molto grossi, spine a uncino, foglie verde scuro medio-piccole. Fiorisce in primavera e in autumno, coprendosi di fiori piccoli, pieni, doppi, bianco-crema. Poco profumo.
