(1913) Page(s) 13. Hybrid Perpetual Roses. Ben Cant (B. R. Cant & Sons, 1902), very large flower of the Victor Hugo type, with beautifully rounded bold outer petals and well-formed high centre. Colour deep clear crimson with slightly darker flushes in the centre, and dark veining throughout. Very sweetly scented. Remarkably strong and sturdy in growth and a most abundant bloomer both summer and autumn; buds should be well thinned. Awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society...very vigourous.

Cant & Sons, 1910), colour, bright glowing rose of uniform shade throughout; strong sturdy growth, flowers carried erect on stout stems; very free and continuous flowering and exceedingly sweet scented; a good exhibition variety; buds should be well thinned. Awarded Gold Medal National Rose Society...vigorous.

Cant & Sons, 1911), result of a cross with the well known variety Frau Karl Druschki and similar in habit of growth; colour deep rosy pink in the centre, shading off lighter towards the outer petals; flowers large, full and well pointed, a valuable exhibition and decorative variety.
