developed in Germany by Wilhelm Kordes… a Rosa pimpinellifolia hybrid - named in honour of the renowned plantsman - released in 1931. A cross between the Altai [R. pimpinellifolia 'Grandiflora' (syn. R. spinosissima altaica) rose and the Hybrid Perpetual 'Frau Karl Druschki', it bears souble cream-coloured flowers throughout summer.
