Pearson's Encyclopedia of Roses (1956), pg. 170. Alain (Floribunda) ([Guinee X Skyrocket] X Orange Triumph) : Vivid crimson-scarlet, reminiscent of Frensham, but not as free-flowering. Dark green foliage, resistant to disease. (Gaujard, 1948).
