Website/Catalog (8 Aug 2016) Includes photo(s). Moorcroft (Guesyearn), floribunda rose. Launched at Hampton Court 2015 by Eric Knowles. A unique and very special rose, bred especially by Rose breeder Maurice Guest for the world famous Moorcroft Pottery, this simple but perfectly formed rose has been given the truly great honour of being named Moorcroft and lends itself perfectly for the design of a newly commissioned vase made by Moorcroft Pottery in 2015 to celebrate the naming of this wonderful and very unique rose. One of the first roses to flower, amazing long lasting, violet red scalloped edged, fragranced, long lasting, large single blooms are formed in nice sized clusters with white eye, bright golden centres and unusual silver white reverse petals on compact and extremely healthy olive green growth, colour slowly fades to a pleasant pale lilac. The amazing flowers close up at night to extend the life of the blooms, repeat flowers very quickly right through to late autumn. A nice compact habit, ideal for both borders and container planting. Fragrance: Medium. Bush Rose Height : 60-90cm
