One of the most successful (bronze medal in the National Rose Trial Garden 2001) was ‘Wollongong Gold’ (cream really), developed in 1986 from ‘Violet Carson’ (predominantly pink with cream reverse floribunda) x ‘Arizona’ (orange blend HT). It makes an excellent bedding rose, repeats quickly and only grows to about 1 metre.
